The Open Radio Communication Architecture Core Framework (OrcaCF) provides exceptional quality and best value for developers and implementers of SCA-compliant radio systems. This new version of OrcaCF implements the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Software Communications Architecture (SCA) version 2.2.2 specification. It was developed in C++ and has been thoroughly tested with JTAP. It has support for different ORBs (TAO, OmniORB, and ORBexpress) on VxWorks and Linux Operating Systems, and includes a component library and sample applications in C++ to jumpstart your SCA development.
The OrcaCF is ideal for rapid prototyping of waveforms built to SCA specifications because it uses standard CORBA and POSIX interfaces that simplify development.
A new addition to the OrcaCF suite is the CF Navigator tool for runtime introspection of SCA Operating Environments and Waveform Applications.
