L-3 GS&ES Awarded U.S. Air Force Operational Weather Squadron (OWS) Support Services Contract
CHANTILLY, Va., October 23, 2008 – L-3 Global Security & Engineering Solutions (L-3 GS&ES) announced today that it received award of a $30.9 million operational weather support contract from the U.S. Air Force. The contract provides training and systems support to the Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA) and Operational Weather Squadron (OWS) at multiple locations in the continental United States and Hawaii. L-3’s services will include weather systems training, systems administration, and web site support.
