L-3 Awarded U.S. Air Force Training Contract

CHANTILLY, Va., Feb. 25, 2008 – L-3 Global Security & Engineering Solutions (L-3 GS&ES), a division of L-3 Communications, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Air Force.

The L-3 GS&ES team of 17 subcontractors, including another L-3 division, D.P. Associates Inc., will provide training, exercising, and experimentation support to the 505th Command and Control Wing (CCW). This contract is a consolidation of ten previously separate task orders. L-3 GS&ES had been performing one of the original ten; the majority of this award represents new work for the division.
