Senior Military Analyst - (GSES TW46400)

Ft Monroe, VA

We are looking for a retired senior Army officer to support the development of architecture policy, standards and governance planning, and implementation. The ideal candidate will be able to perform strategic planning as well as coordinate and execute selected high priority projects. This includes the ability to matrix staff as well as to establish working relationships with diverse Subject Matter Experts, OSD/FFRDC architect principals, and architecture policy makers as a prerequisite to ensure effective policy and program development and analysis outcomes. The candidate will be responsible for translating and communicating highly complex analyses into actionable information for senior decision makers. Requirements: Recently retired (within the last 5 - 10 years) Army Colonel. Ability to perform strategic planning. Proven success in leading multiple teams to accomplish varied high priority projects. Minimum SECRET clearance; TS/SCI clearance preferred. Four year degree: BS Information Management, InformationSystems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred. We are willing to consider a candidate who has retired from the ARMY over 10 years who has been supporting ARMY as a contractor and is up to speed on ARMY Policy/Procedures/Programs/Operations etc. Desired: Extensive experience in Joint Capability development and Force Management processes. Experience leading studies, planning and analyses for senior executive level problem resolution. Demonstrated vision, experience, and academic qualifications to understand architecture application and strategic planning to help shape missions, goals, and objectives. Intensive and progressive experience supervising and managing a team that conducted strategic planning and analysis. Extensive experience interfacing with the Joint community, HQDA, and TRADOC Schools and COEs in order to develop/review DoD, USJFCOM, DA and TRADOC documents, Joint regulations, pamphlets, guides and staffing instruments. Extensive experience interacting at the senior executive level to include demonstrated capability to brief senior executives and to produce documents and correspondance for senior executive signature. Academic qualifications should be equivalent to the Senior Service College (WAR College).
