Expert Architect - (GSES DC45715)

We are looking for an expert level analyst with recent military experience in Afghanistan or Iraq to develop architecture IAW the DoD Architecture Framework, assist with operations research analysis and interface with the US Army's TRADOC Analysis Center in support of the US Army TRADOC's Architecture Integration and Management Directorate (AIMD). The ideal candidate will be able to understand and have the ability to decompose Joint/Army war fighting concepts and capabilities to the task/activity level of detail and derive associated information exchange requirements using object oriented modeling techniques, have experience with simulations/scenario development, and demonstrated project management and leadership experience. This includes the ability to review architecture and architecture analysis products, participate in discussions/working groups/conferences with external organizations and maintain currency on Joint, Army and TRADOC concepts, doctrine, regulations, directives and procedures. Requirements:Recent (w/in 5 yrs) military experience in Iraq or Afghanistan. Possess high level coordination and collaboration skills. 2-3 years of Experience with simulations and scenario development. Demonstrated experience with project management and team leadership. SECRET clearance. Four year degree: BS Information Management, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Advanced degree in Operational Research preferred. (Exact mix of requirements negotiable.) Desired: Army, DoD experience in acquisition and capability development. 2-3 years of architecture development experience and knowledge of the enterprise architecture core processes and lines of business. Demonstrated Operations Research and Sys Engineering experience. Successfully completed/mastered one or more architecture development processes with supporting credentials/certifications. Experience interfacing and collaborating with U.S. Army TRADOC Centers of Excellence. Experience leading studies, planning, and analysis for senior executive levels. Comprehensive knowledge of DOTMLPF. Strong oral and written communications skills.
