Senior Process and Compliance Manager- PEO Soldier - (Engility TS46252)

Ft Belvoir, VA

Senior Process and Compliance Manager Serves as a technical authority and senior advisor within a newly established Quality and Process Assurance organization in an acquisition headquarters lead by a Senior Executive Service manager. Responsible for the establishment, planning, organizing, evaluating, administering, and coordinating internal control and quality assurance processes supporting the development, acquisition, production, and fielding of systems. The work is characterized by extremely broad and complex systems involving diverse operations and functions. Lead to design a comprehensive process assurance program to ensure that internal processes, procedures and decision controls are in place for the acquisition and management of state-of-the-art systems and equipment. Exercises a broad experience and knowledge of government processes and methodologies to ensure integrity of procured systems and equipment. Plans and coordinates processes and procedures, analyzes process failures and inadequacies, and ensures adequacy of efforts related to root cause corrective action. Evaluates process performance, and makes recommendations with respect to adjustments. Coordinates with product managers, users, and other Government agencies as needed to translate operational and mission needs into practical process and system concepts and specifications. Participates in program reviews, design reviews, and conferences as the process and reliability technical authority. Conducts continuing review and evaluation of program effectiveness through review of reports, correspondence, data bases, field data, product and process audits, and observation of internal operations. Works closely with test, audit and contract management agencies. Key Attributes: Ability to communicate orally and in writing Recognized expert in internal control policy, procedures or compliance enforcement Ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines Knowledge of quality assurance processes, principles, practices, and procedures Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations Knowledge of Government and agency-specific guidelines and business practices, including statutes, regulations, policies and procedures. Knowledge of business practices applicable to internal control procedures Education, Experience, Knowledge: 25-30 years experience in government process control. Lean six Sigma Experience an advantage. Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred. Successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Secret Security Clearance or ability to gain a Secret clearance required. Applicants selected for this position will require background screening and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
